This patient had 2 sessions of FUE to achieve the hair line density that he wanted. It is not possible to implant the grafts to give this density in one session.
With a single session you can achieve nice density but there will be spacing between the follicles at the hair line. These can be filled in at a second session if the patient chooses.

For patients who do not wish to be seen shaved it is possible to lift the hair and extract the follicles. While this results in a smaller harvest this is a procedure that meets the needs of many patients in the public eye. We also use this same harvesting technique for females.

Immediately after the surgery the grafts placed will be visible and then the hair will detach from the implanted follicle and at 3 months the follicle will start to produce hair so that at 6 months patients have noticeable improvements.
The final result is only achieved at 12 to 14 months after surgery. At that point all the implanted follicles have started to generate hair which will grow naturally for the rest of the patients life.
